Fans: 2,000 fans in attendance

Due to legal restrictions, BVB fans do not have the usual quota of 5% of the stadium capacity (2,396 of 47,929 seats) as is usual for matches in Europe. The total allocation is almost 400 seats less. Demand for the 2,000 tickets was immense. By order of the police, there will also be no official meeting point for BVB fans in Paris.

Referee: Orsato to officiate

The 48-year-old Italian Daniele Orsato is refereeing a BVB match for the fifth time. It will also be his 55th time in charge of a match in the Champions League. He has been a top-flight referee in Italy since 2006 and has officiated 288 matches in Serie A. Compatriots Ciro Carbone and Alessandro Giallatini will be the linesmen. The video assistant referee is Massimiliano Irrati. Orsato previously refereed BVB's matches against AS Monaco (a 3-2 defeat in April 2017), Atletico Madrid (a 2-0 defeat in October 2018), Manchester City (a 2-1 defeat in September 2022) and, most recently, the second leg of the last-16 clash with PSV Eindhoven in Dortmund (a 2-0 win).
